Start with the basics – let’s have a conversation around your current marketing efforts, pain points, and immediate goals. From there, we will think through the best places we can provide incremental value.
Once we’ve identified pain points and where we can be of immediate help, we’ll dig a little bit deeper. We’ll discuss whether an hourly or project-based model will be the most impactful. We’ll also start outlining immediate priorities and the order of priorities based on impact.
Once we’ve aligned on the overall strategy and priorities, we start building out programs. If you have existing teams or agencies, we will identify low-hanging fruit and start making updates. We will also build mechanisms to measure and iterate to optimize existing programs.
As we start to drive revenue we will understand where we have the highest revenue generation for every marketing dollar invested. We use KPIs like pipeline/spend versus cost per lead so we’re actually driving high quality versus quantity. From there we simply grow in areas that make the most sense.

Good thing we offer both services. Most often, fractional CMO services will be hourly based and cover a variety of services. On the other hand, marketing consulting services can be more project-focused and limited in scope.
Most often, we take a look at any analytics tools to discern where most of your revenue comes from and what your ideal customer profile (ICP) looks like.
If you don’t have a cohesive marketing program, ROI is most certain. We will start by reviewing current marketing efforts and building KPIs to track progress. From there, we will focus on driving those KPIs and this is pretty much guaranteed.
